Thieves Oil All Natural Cleaning Products
Legend of the Four Thieves
During the time of the Plagues in Europe, there were a band of thieves that would go into the homes of the deceased and rob them of their valuables without ever succumbing to the Plague.
When they were caught, the Magistrate of the High Court demanded to know their secret and promised them leniency.
You see, these particular thieves came from a long line of family owned Apothecaries and they had the secret to using what come from nature to defend themselves against sickness.
The basic recipe is oils and plant essence of Rosemary, Cinnamon, Clove, Lemon and Eucalyptus.
There are many additions and variations to this concoction from the Middle Ages, but the true recipe is said to still be held in the Court Archives in England.
I combine plant essence & essential oils of:
CLOVE – is one of the most antimicrobial and antiseptic
of all essential oils.
EUCALYPTUS -oil is antibacterial, anti-fungal, antimicrobial,
antiviral
ROSEMARY – is antiseptic and antimicrobial. It is high in cineol—a key ingredient in
antiseptic drugs.
LEMON – has antiseptic and disinfecting properties
CINNAMON – is one of the most powerful antiseptics
known. It is strongly antibacterial,
antiviral, and anti-fungal.
Natural Surfactants - Saponified Oils of Olive and Castor Bean
I will also be creating a variety of fragrances to choose from by adding an additional essential oil to the mix.
Lavender Oil. It's a classic! It also has anti bacterial and antimicrobial properties.
Juniper Berries Oil. This fresh, green fragrant oil with balsam undertones has antiseptic, antimicrobial and anti bacterial properties. Diffusing juniper into the air will freshen and disinfect a stale room.
Lemongrass. This oil not only smells fresh and lemony, it has anti-fungal, antiviral and insecticidal properties.
Ravensara Oil. This woodsy, herbaceous fragrant oil has antibacterial, antiseptic and antiviral properties.
